The Link and Event pages on the Faithful & Fruitful website get hundreds of visits per month. This training will model how to add events.
Adding Training Days to F&F Link & Event Pages
Step 1
Event: Load Elementor On the Events Page
Log in to the WordPress website and load Elementor for the events page.
If there is a Training Day section that is expired, you can swap out the information for the new Training Day.
If there is not a Training Day that is expired, you can click the Pink Grid Tab to duplicate the section and create a new Training Day listing.
Either way…
Swap out the text, graphics, and Learn More button link.
- Image (Resize to 800×800 pixels & save as jpg)
- Date & Time
- Title
- Description
We will do the Register Free button in a future step.
Step 3
Event: Set Timer to Hide Element
Setting the visibility timer will auto hide the Training Day container when the event has expired.
On the Training Day container, Pink Setting Tab > Visbility Tab > Turn On visibility.
In the Date & Time section set the time to hide the element:
- Date To
- Set to 30 minutes before the event start time in Mountain time zone.
Publish.
Step 4
Event: Verify Changes
Load the Event page and ensure that everything appears correct.
In addition, click the Register Free button to ensure the popup loads.
Step 5
Link: Load Elementor On the Links Page
Load Elementor on the Links page and either duplicate a template of an active Training Day or update an old / not active Training Day.
Update the information
Update the square graphic (this will apply to desktop & tablet)
- Update image size to 800px width, save as JPG

Step 8
